AIESEC Global Business Seminar 2009
Amidst the gloomy outlook on the global economy, AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organization, conducted a seminar for the best college students in the metro in an effort to provide answers to the youth’s many questions about the state of the international business world today.
AIESEC Global Business Seminar (AGBS) 2009 was held February 23, 2009 at the Philippine National Oil Company Conference Hall at Fort Bonifacio. This invitational seminar provided 75 of the nation’s top students an opportunity to engage in riveting discussions about the evolving global economy with the leading movers of the business community. The AGBS featured in-depth talks about relevant and timely issues confronting the business scene from the perspective of national big shots like Sanjiv Vorja, Citibank Philippines CEO, Benjamin Diokno, Former Budget Secretary, Anthony Pangilinan, Chief Trainer and Consultant of Business Works, Ramon Lopez, Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship Executive Director, Edgar Chua, Shell Philippines Country Chairman, Vincent Perez, Former Department of Energy Secretary and Antonio Cailao, Philippine National Oil Company President and CEO.
The seminar was AIESEC University of the Philippines Diliman’s response to the urgent need for the youth to step up, to shape up and to be fully aware about what part they can play in the challenges facing the world today.
